AeonVox Sales Policies
Our constant endeavor is to provide the highest quality product to our customers at a price commensurate with the value of that product. While we do wish to ensure absolute satisfaction for every customer, certain sales and service guidelines must be established to ensure a high quality of service and the protection of ourselves, honest customers, and the public at large.

Collection of Sales Information
AeonVox records the avatar name, avatar key, product name, product version, and purchase date for every AeonVox purchase made (whether in-world or via a website marketplace). This information is recorded so that our customers may be authorized to receive product updates, that our customer service representatives may know if an avatar asking for assistance is truly an AeonVox customer, and that we are able to keep accurate internal business records.
AeonVox will never send unsolicited e-mail, notecards, products, or other paraphernalia to our customers. Additionally, our customer list will never be shared with any third party entity except in the case of the pursuance of legal action, at which point only those customers required to be shared within the confines of the legal proceedings will be shared, and only within the confines of said legal proceedings. An avatar's list of purchases will be made available only to the user of the avatar, any users allowed to view such purchases by the user of the avatar, and select members of the AeonVox team (ownership and customer service representatives).
If you do not wish to have your avatar name and avatar key stored within our database, please refrain from purchasing any of our products. We are unable to provide products without also adding your avatar name and key to our database as we are unwilling to provide any product without update and/or service capability.
Responsibility of the Customer
Every AeonVox product is delivered with clear, concise, and complete instructions. These instructions explain to the customer the procedures for using each feature of the purchased product. It is the responsibility of the customer to read and follow these instructions before contacting AeonVox for assistance. Requests for assistance sent to AeonVox that indicate a failure to do so will be sent the reply 'Please read the instructions for assistance'. If a customer prefers to receive personal assistance rather than read product instructions, they may schedule an orientation with one of our customer service representatives at a pre-paid rate of L$2700/hour (minimum 1 hour). If the customer wishes to schedule an orientation with the primary scripter of the product rather than a customer service representative, the pre-paid rate is at L$13,500/hour (minimum 1 hour).

Requests for Assistance
All requests for assistance must be made by filling out our contact webform here. No other form of request will be recognized or accepted. All assistance requests are guaranteed a reply within 24 hours unless notification to the contrary is present on the contact webform page. This policy must be upheld in order to allow us the most complete and efficient manner of providing assistance to our many and varied clients. If we were to accept assistance requests in any other format, we would not be able to respond as quickly, requests would be lost, and we would be unable to provide our highly regarded, top-quality customer service.
Please remember that the more data you are able to provide, the more quickly we are able to diagnose and resolve the issue you are experiencing. Please be as clear, logical, and detailed as you are able while filling out your request so that we may help you in the most effective way possible.
Requests for assistance that indicate a desire for a product to perform functions it is neither advertised to do, nor capable of doing, will be politely offerred the opportunity to pay for a custom alteration to said product. The price of customization and timeframe for completion of the project will vary dependent upon the feature(s) desired.
Product Returns/Refunds
Most AeonVox products are sold with 'copy' permissions enabled. In such cases, because it can never be assured that an avatar has removed their product from inventory on a permanent basis, returns are not accepted and refunds are not given. In the rare case that AeonVox sells a transferrable, no-copy product, returns are accepted within the first 48 hours of purchase.
Script and Object Permissions
Customers often ask whether or not they are permitted to remove AeonVox scripts from their default objects and place them into objects of their own making. In most cases, the answer is yes - please do. There are a few products (the AeonVox Timeclock, for instance) in which a script-transfer may be dangerous because of the nature of linked messages between multiple scripts within the object. In these cases, the difficulty is warned of within the product instructions and it is suggested that the customer not remove the scripts from the default object. In these cases, AeonVox cannot be held responsible for servicing scripts that have been removed from their default object and stop functioning as a result.
AeonVox does not sell or distribute modifiable versions of our scripts. If a product indicates that it carries full permissions, the indication is meant to state that the object carries modify, copy, and transfer permissions and that the script carries copy and transfer permissions. A script that is not modifiable does not rob the customer of any potential product benefit, but rather protects the customer against the possibility of breaking the script through toying with its coding. Additionally, no-modify scripts help protect AeonVox from any who would wish to copy our code and attempt to sell it as their own. Aspiring scripters who wish to find open source scripts to digest and learn from are invited to attend our AVSI class sessions and to visit both the Second Life Forums and the LSL Scripting Wiki for helpful resource examples.
